This poem is about the hardships that soldiers endure with their comrades. Because they fight together under the same ideas and intent, they become closer than family. They survive together, they lean on each other. You watch their back and they'll watch yours. This poem basically explains the brotherhood that war creates which falls under my theme that War is not always bad and ugly. What started off with a group of men who share the same principles and beliefs transcends to a brotherly bond because of war.
